Happy New Year to my precious Bryce.
I love you so much my love and everytime I see you I see myself when I was a little girl. Wow, I can't believe it and my brothers and sister say the same thing. And you are as shy as I was when I was your age. So hard to be so shy, but you will outgrow it.
Caden sure loves you and calls you BB and calls Bowen BoBo.

My precious little granddaughter,
I love you more today than yesterday !! I am so blessed to have you in my life.
You wanted to help decorate my house for Christmas, so I made sure that we got you to my house to help me. We put up the Christmas tree last week so you and Bowen and Caden would be able to help decorate. Bowen quickly lost interest but Caden was just happy to be with you b/c he misses you, so he hung all his ornaments in one spot and Bowen had some snowflakes hooked together hanging to the floor. But when I looked at the tree after everyone had left, you changed there decorations around. Caden's ornaments were distributed around the tree and the snowflakes were no longer hanging to the floor. You are so funny. You definitely know how things should look and you have an eye for fashion too.

My Little Precious,
Well, you started kindergarten and I have cried over and over about it. I just miss you so much and you seem so gosh darn little to be gone all day and ride the big bus and all that goes with school. But you are so very excited about it and I wouldn't tell you that mommy and I have both cried over losing you. :(
I came over to your house the first day to watch you get off the school bus and he dropped you off at the end of the road and you just ran down the whole way. It was so precious and of course we were all running to meet you. I think the driver finally got it that he is supposed to pick you up in front of your house.
We had our girls day out and got our nails done. You were very excited to do that but it started to thunder and I think you got nervous so we went home sooner than I would have liked. And the next week, Papa and I took you and Aly out to buy a school outfit and go out to supper. You had a great time but I think I had a better time.
Yesterday was my first day without you here and I had to go pick you up after school. Caden did not have his afternoon nap and I was hoping he would fall asleep on our way to your house and even drove around awhile but he did not fall asleep. When you got in the car, he was so excited I knew there would not be any sleep at that point. So, when we got home I took him to my bedroom and was trying to get him asleep and of course he knew you were out in the living room and he kept crying and pointing his finger to the living room and after a few minutes you came in and held your arms out to take him. It was so precious and of course he couldn't wait to go to you. So, needless to say, he did not get his nap and boy was he cranky when his mommy and daddy picked him up. We will have to rethink our schedule.
I asked you what was the best part of your school day and you told me riding the school bus. Oh Bryce, I love you so much.
I gave you a necklace for your birthday that says "I love you to the moon and back" You are in my thoughts and heart always.

To my precious Bryce
I love you so much and love to be with you. You start kindergarten this fall and I will so miss having you at my house every Wednesday. It has been so nice to have you here every week for the last year. It has given us time together. And Caden just loves having you here too. He is so happy everytime he sees you and wants you to hold him and he just wraps his little arms and legs around your neck and waist. The other day you said to Caden " I just love you so much"
We went last weekend to Uncle Danny's house and went to the ocean. You had such a good time at the water, running and jumping in the waves. You did chores so you could earn money to buy a hermit crab on the boardwalk. How fun
We are going to have a girls day before school starts and I get to take you shopping and out to lunch etc. I can't wait. I am so excited to be with you. When we are all together, it is hard to talk b/c Bowen talks so much and you are so quiet. Bowen is so funny, and he doesn't stop, so you just don't say anything.

To my beautiful granddaughter
We were going to go to the lake house and you asked me if we had crayons at the lake house and I said "I think so" and you said "you think??" It just cracked me up the way you said it to me.
Aunt Staci had Caden's and Uncle Shane's birthday party in March and she had little candy bags for everyone and there were M&M's in the bag with Uncle Shane 's and Caden's picture. Well, your mommy found one M&M of Caden in a little clear plastic box you have on a little piece of cotton. She sent us a picture. Too funny. it was your special box and you wanted to save a pic of Caden.
The other day you asked me if you could put on some of my lipstick and it was pink and you put it on and I am not sure if you went to the mirror or what, but then you found a red lipstick and asked if you could put that one on. So, you had beautiful big red lips!!
We have been reading chapter books here on the days I babysit. And you and Bowen love the chapter books. On the back of the one was writing and you asked me if it was a blurb. And I thought I knew what you meant but wasn't sure if it was the same thing I was thinking so I asked what a blurb was and you said, "well, you know some books have a cover and the front cover has writing on it and it is a blurb. You are so smart!
And I love you more than there are stars in the sky

I forgot to tell you about this. I asked you the other day what you would like for Easter b/c I figured I would quit doing the big Easter basket b/c everyone gets one from their parents and no one wants all that candy in their home.So anyhow, you said " there is a book at Home Depot that I would like to have. It has a dolphin on it and it is jumping out of the water and it is this big and mommy would not get it for me and it cost, I think, four zero one, but I am not sure.But I remember four zero one. And that is the book I want"
Then when you were home you told your mommy that gramma asked what you wanted for Easter and your mommy asked what and you said "It will be a surprise" . That just cracked me up . You didn't want to let mommy know what you asked for. you are so silly and I love you so much

To my precious granddaughter.
I am so in love with you! I can hardly take it. I just want to squeeze the pudding out of you. I love when you crawl up in my lap, doesn't happen very often, but I sure melt when it does. Actually, when I was a little girl I was very very shy and would not talk to anyone (just like you). And if I didn't feel good, I pretty much just wanted to be left alone and I think you have a lot of that in you too. But I did grow out of it!
The other day Bowen and I picked you up at preschool and he is just chatting up a storm and you are always so quiet and he says "what did you learn today?" just cracked me up. of course you didn't answer him.
When we got home it was snowing and blowing really bad and my wind chime outside was really whipping and you said " listen, I can hear your wind chime just a titch" cracked me up.
I love you so much Bryce and feel so lucky to have a little girl in my life

To my precious Bryce.
I feel so lucky to have you in my life. I wanted a girl so much and finally I have you and I couldn't be happier to have you as my granddaughter.
Yesterday we were playing in the basement and you were playing pretend and you told Bowen and me to clean up the house b/c you were coming home and the house better be clean before you got home and you were not happy that Bowen and I didn't do a very good job with the little playhouse. It was kinda funny.
I never would have realized the difference between a girl and a boy, but even from 6 months old there is a big difference. Bowen would never worry about cleaning the playhouse, but you did.
Caden just loves spending his Wednesday here with you. When you get here, he is so happy and comes to give you a big hug and kisses!! Bowen just goes about his own thing , but you are always fussing over Caden and he loves it.

To my beautiful princess
I took everyone to Disney over Thanksgiving since I retired this year. It was my present to everyone b/c I retired. You just loved it there and loved being the princess that you are. I was so happy to be with you and watch how happy it made you. You probably won't remember much, but I will remember it forever.
You had a great time with your cousins too and you are such a little mother to all of them. Just cracks me up.
You are such a quiet little girl. I hate to say but you are just like I was little. I was scared of my own shadow. I wish you would talk more but it is just not happening. One day Bowen was talking his head off to you and you wouldn't answer him and he said "Why won't you talk to me Sissy?" and you said "because I don't have anything to say" !
