Hi my little one,
You have been here a couple times over the last week and when you see me coming and you run to my arms, wow do I melt.  It makes me so happy and I keep reliving the moment. :)
You were telling me about your new Christmas tree and I was of course very impressed so you continued on and you held your right arm out straight and asked me if it was your left arm and I said no it was your right arm. So, you said well, if you go in Walmart and go right to the back of the store you will find the Christmas tree that I have at my house.  You gave me a very detailed way to look for it.  Just love to hear your stories.
I have some presents under the tree and you asked who they were for and I said Papa and a little while later you said. Are there any presents under the tree for me? and when I said yes, you got the biggest smile, but I was surprised you didn't want to go look and feel them all.

My dear little Brycee
You spent the night with me the other night and you had a purse with rings in it and you gave me a ring to put  on my finger b/c it was too big for yours anyway.  So I put it on my finger and it was loose and before you know it, I couldn't find it.  So, I told you I couldn't find the ring, it slipped off my finger and you said "well, lets not tell mama b/c that would make her sad and let's not tell daddy either ok?"  oh my, you are such a people pleaser and you are only 4!! Makes me sad.  We did find the ring.

My little lady,
You spent a couple nights with me at the lake house and you noticed a toilet bowl cleaner hanging from the side and wanted me to explain it to you, so I did. Then we were near the other toilet and you saw the same thing so you asked me where I got them and I told you the Christmas Tree Shops and you said , do you think you could take me there sometime.  Oh man. That is all I need to hear to make my day.

Oh my dear little Brycee!! you have a bad gramma today. You and Bowie and I went to the zoo playground tonight and were going to meet your parents and Aunt Staci and Uncle Shaney and you were on the monkey bars and fell and broke your elbow!! I just knew the way you were holding your arm. I was hoping it wasn't broken especially in the middle of summer. Gramma feels so bad for you and you were so brave. Went to the hospital and they put a cast on your tiny little arm. I think I feel worse than you do :( I sure love you so much and would gladly take the cast on my arm if only I could.

My little love bug,

This weekend you spent all day with me, we went to garage sales first with your daddy and little brother and then you and me and Papa went to Chapman Damn for Sophia's first birthday. It is about 1 1/2 hour from here, so quite a trip. You slept on the way over. There was a playground for you to play on and a beach, so you got your feet wet. We started to walk back to the pavilion b/c it was time to leave and I don't think you wanted to leave, so you were walking with your hands on the ground and being very slow. Lynette said "be careful, there might be bees on the clover" and boy did you jump up and walked so fast. we were cracking up, just the way you jumped up!

Then I had a graduation party to go to after we got home and you asked me what kind of people are going to be there. We got there and you really wouldn't eat anything except some fruit and you were kinda laying your head on the table. And it had been a very long day for you, so, I said to the woman, she is very tired so we are going to leave soon. Well, when you and I got in the car you said "gramma, I am really not tired, I was just ready to leave" Oh my!! you are soooo funny.

Anyhow, you spent the night and I got my fix of Brycee time, what an awesome time together. Thank you for loving me

My beautiful granddaughter,

You were up for the first time this year to the lake house and we all went out in the boat. It was a very hot day and Aunt Staci jumped in the water to cool off. Your daddy was laying on the raft and you wanted on the raft if mommy went with you. So, you went of the raft and you were very nervous but knew you really really wanted to be in the water on the raft. Then you wanted to swim with Aunt Staci, so she took you back and forth from the raft to the boat. The water was pretty chilly, but boy you has such good fun swimming with her. Hopefully you will be swimming real soon. I sure love you and it is so fun to have you guys at the lake house. I am the happiest when I can watch you and Bowie have a great time.

My precious

Yesterday when we took our big walk on the bridge over the river and into the forest. We were going to go say hello to our neighbors, b/c it is time we said hello to them and see them. So we walked all the way up the hill to where their house is and then we started back down the hill and you was not totally sure which way to go so you decided to get a map and read the directions. So you got a rolled up leaf and unrolled it and read the directions.

How silly huh?

But how much fun I had with you two taking our walk. Your mommy said you get the map idea from Dora the Explorer. Oh well, I still think you are very advanced!

To my little darling,

I was babysitting you the other day and you told me that when you are 4 you are going to get your ear's pierced and when you were three you didn't use your baba anymore, you use a sippy cup and drink your milk. Then you couldn't open something and you told me that when you are 4 you will be able to open it. You also told your mom you would be driving when you are 4. So boy, alot is going to happen when you turn 4, hope you are not disappointed. You sure do talk and I just love that.

You did powerzone weekend last weekend at church. and talk about proud parents and gramma and auntie and uncle (Staci and Shane), we couldn't take our eyes off you.

I just had to write this b/c today you asked your mommy for watermelon and she said she didn't have it and you said, you better call gramma b/c she probably has some! ahh, if I was home I would have gotten some and brought it over to you. You have stolen my heart little lady and I love you

1/17/12 Road trip

Your mommy and daddy and you and Bowie are going to Kalahari in Ohio for a couple nights to celebrate daddy's new job. It is a water park. So, I said to you "oh wow, how fun, do you think I could go?" and you said " hmmm, you have to ask papa and if he says no then you tan't go"

You sure do crack me up little one! I love you
