12/2/11 Christmas lights

You are Bowen were at my house and I had my Christmas tree up in the living room. You were napping in the family room and then when you woke up we ate and in a little while you noticed the tree and you come running to me..."gramma, come with me, hurry" and we had to run and I knew it was for you to show me the tree and it was. You said "LooooKKK" , too much. It reminded me of your daddy when he was your age and I was checking the Christmas lights to see if the first string worked or not and when I plugged it in, he says " Mommy.....Loookkk" and he sat down on the floor to just look at the lights. IT is a magical time of year and children make it the best. Love ya

11/29/11 new outfit

Oh my little Brycee, you sure know what you like and what you don't. I bought you the most beautiful outfit. It was black tight pants with a matching white soft coat with black fur on the collar and cuffs and a beret to match. Well your mommy said you didn't like it b/c you didn't like fur. So she brought the outfit back to me to return and she said she what she tells you. So i said to you "oh what a beautiful outfit, do you like it" and you say "oh yes i like it" and then in a littler voice you say "I don't really like it, I think we will leave it at your house" you are too much!! I love you

My dear Bryce,

Mommy and Daddy have been bringing you to church and you go to Sunday school sometimes. Once you get in there you are fine, but not so much when mommy or gramma leaves you at the door. Anyhow, yesterday, your mommy told me that you were looking at the Christmas tree and mumbling and she heard you say Amen. You did this a few times and your mom asked what you were doing and you told her you were practicing. You were saying Dear God, thank you for everything , Amen. When she asked where you learned to do this, you said gramma :) and Sunday school. How awesome is that. I couldn't have been happier all day. I pray for you every day my love.

You spent the night with me a few nights ago and with ALy also. She woke up first and I was laying in bed with you and you pointed to the window and said "the sun is on" time to get up!! You are way too special and I love you

To my darling Brycee,

I am so in love with you, I just can't even tell you how much. One of my friends told me she felt so totally in love with her grandbaby and now I know how she feels. And to watch you grow and watch your parents give you so much love and take such good care of you. Very precious. I do love being a grandparent.

You were here the other day and I put Bowen down for his nap and I ran outside to hang a couple things on the line and you were right in the sunroom playing. Well, I heard you calling Gramma and it sounded muffled so I came running in and there you were with your head in the toy box and your feet off the floor and you couldn't get out. I grabbed you out and you said can you get me that horsey. You are so silly.

You are always telling stories, everything is a whole dialog, not just a quick sentence. That just cracks me up b/c boys never wanted to tell me a whole story, I was lucky to get briefs sentences.

Sleep Over

My dear Bryce,
We had a sleepover last night because Don was out of town and it give me a chance to be alone with you. So, I got you right after lunch and we went to my house and picked raspberries (your favorite), then we played with toys and went shopping and got you a new outfit and we had to put the top on you as soon as we got in the car. Then we had pizza, ate chocolate cookies and went to dairy isle and after baths watched Cinderella. What a fun night. It is so awesome to have you here with me. You are such a little chatterbox and we just talk all night!! i am hoping for many more memory making times together. I love you so much and it is so great to be your gramma.

To my little princess!! We watched Cinderella last Friday night and you sat on my lap the whole time. How awesome is that. boy, I can't ask for anything more. and you have wanted me to pick you up for church two times even when you know your mommy and daddy are going. I sure feel pretty special. When we were at church I had to go potty and I said well lets go in the big stall (handicapped) since there was two of us. so I no sooner got done and you were out of that stall looking in all the other stalls and I asked what you were doing and you said "that is a medium one , oh , here is a small one" (they were all the same) but you cracked me up.
when you were with me the other night I said you have the cutest little butt, boy I wish I had a little butt like yours. And you said , ya, you have a big butt!!.
Out of the clear blue, you told me , sometimes I call my mommy Sommer.
Oh Brycee I wish I could remember all the times you make me laugh. You are just such a character and I love you a bushel and a peck.

Hi there sweetheart,
boy i love you more and more. the other day you came here and when i went in my bedroom to change you (of course) come with me and you carry out two pair of shoes and two scarves! and then you brought another pair out and said "my mommy would like these"
You spent the night with me a couple nights ago and then I watched you and Bowen for the day while your mommy was at work. Your parents do not want to give you up, and your daddy is calling me to see if you miss him. too funny.
I told you I would shower first and then we would give you a bath and you said o ta (ok) . you shut the door and went to the living room which kinda surprised me b/c you don't usually leave the room people are in. but you did keep coming back and forth , in and out. before i got in the shower, I came out and to ask if you wanted Mickey Mouse on , and right away you said "do you need help" how sweet huh?
then you would ask me where i got something and I would tell you I bought it and you would say "all by yourself?"
I am just amazed at how much you talk and all the thoughts behind it.

01/09/11 Good Morning baby girl. how I love you. You spent the night with me last weekend and boy did I have fun. Sometimes I just laugh so hard and you just look at me like I am nuts! I gave you some valentine gifts, a blinking necklace and ring and other silly stuff like candy etc. and you said thank you for my beautiful valentime. What a sweetheart.
Aunt Judy called me while you were there and you asked who's calling and i told you aunt judy and you said Oh she is my friend. Aunt Judy was cracking up.
The other day I picked you up at Sarah's and you had on a pair of new boots, so as we were walking out I said I really like your new boots. and I guess you felt the need to give me a compliment back so you said I really like your car. Haha, same car i have had since before you were born.

To my dear Bryce,
WOW, am i in love with you or what. you are so special and I just love being your grammie. You can talk so much now and I just enjoy talking with you. The other day your mommy told me that you and Bowen woke up and he coughed and you didn't know it was him that made the noise and you asked your mommy "is there an owl in our house?" and your mommy said no and you said "is there a woodpecker in our house?" oh my goodness. you are too funny. you were at my house the other night and your mommy had been working all day and yet you still would have spent the night with me. how cool is that? i was so thrilled. I really need to be able to retire b/c i want to see you so much more. I raised three boys and let me tell you, you are so way different than them, i can't believe it. You notice all kinds of things, boys only notice themselves! ha ha, but it is true. I just love the fact of having a granddaughter. I never would have imagined that the difference of a boy and girl starts before 2 years of age. I love you so much honey!
