hi there baby girl. i love you so much, every day i love you more. you have a baby brother now and you are such a good big sister. your mommy and daddy had to go to a wedding so you spent your first night here with me and i do hope many more to come. i just love snuggling with you. girls are sure different than boys, you talk so much more and you watch people and stuff. where as boys just do their own thing and they don't care about anything else and they never share all the little details that girls share. i am so excited to have a little girl in my life.

To my beautiful baby girl, i love you honey. you are learning to talk so much and all the time. right now, everything is "what's this" and a while ago it was "sure" which just cracks me up.
you had a boat ride up at the lake house. and you liked it after you got used to it. I can't say it was your first ride b/c you rode a boat in Germany. It was nap time when we were out on the boat so daddy went swimming and you ended up falling asleep. I really hope we have many happy memories at the lake house. That was the main reason papa and i got this house, was to have all our kids there. I know it is hard when the kids are really little but one of these days, you can go kayaking with grandma. I can't wait. no, i take that back. i don't want you to grow too fast. life goes so quickly and before you know it you have entered another stage of life. When my kids were little i didn't think it would ever end, but now i look back and wonder how the years could have possibly gone so quickly.

Germany

you had your first international flight to Germany to visit uncle dan and aunt marissa. You were so good the whole trip. we couldn't have asked for a better little girl. you were so adaptable and you missed your naps many days, yet you just kept plugging along. oh don't get me wrong, there were some times you just weren't happy, but it was only b/c you were so exhausted you just couldn't go on. the favorite part for you was all the fountains, especially the ones in the sidewalks that you could play in. i felt so blessed to have all of you guys over there to see uncle dan, it was wonderful for me. and i watched as him and marissa grew closer to you and that made me very happy. family is everything and will always be there for you, so please always remember everyone loves you soooooo much.

the move

oh my dear bryce,
i sure do love you honey. you have moved to edinboro from mckean, living one mile from me. How I loved having you so close, i could walk to visit with you, when we were driving by, when you were driving by etc. I know you are still close to me as opposed to hours away, but i still very a longing having you in edinboro. I will get used to it, but right now, i miss you.
Your mommy works on tuesday and thursday nights, so i usually babysit you b/c your daddy is doing stuff around the house. and the other night you were cracking me up. well, actually, you make me laugh everytime i am with you. when i would walk away to go somewhere you would follow and say "coming Brycee". it was so funny. and then there is a sippy cup that you always have to drink out of when you come here, well, this time when you finished drinking it, you put it in your diaper bag.
i seriously don't know how you could be any cuter. you are such a joy to be with.
i hope i am always the best grandma i can be for you and your soon to be baby brother and any that may or may not follow!!

moving

so, your parents have found a house that they put a bid in to move to. it is in edinboro. it is so bittersweet for me bryce. i love so much having you close to me . you are one mile down the road and i feel so blessed. i can just pop in and see you anytime and they pop in here too and i get to give you some loving. i am happy for you and your family b/c it will make such a nice house for your family and i love you that will be sleeping on the same floor as your parents and love that you will have so much yard to play in. it is just the older i get the more i hate change and it is hard especially when i feel like i am losing you. now isn't that silly. i could never lose you b/c you are too important in my life. when i was your parents age we moved and it was so wonderful and i was so excited so i know your parents are too.

hi my little brycee. you are starting to think your name is brycee. you are so precious. i love you so much. you have been sick this week and your daddy brought you down the one evening for me to watch you while he got some things done. well , you were not happy. you did not want me to hold you for a while, you just wanted your daddy. i tried to give you all your favorite things and everytime i asked if you wanted something you would say "no no no" and shake your head and kinda say it in a whiney, cryey way. it made me so sad. finally i got you to lay on me with a baba and you took a nap. then i had to take you home when you woke up b/c you were not happy. you ended up having an ear infection and croup. poor little brycee.

to my cutie pututie!! seriously, can you get any cuter? the other night you were here and we had supper and you picked at it and when everyone was done eating, grandpap says "does anyone want ice cream?" and boy did you throw out your arms so he could carry you over to get some ice cream.
it is truly a blessing to have you one mile down the road from me. i get to see you so often and it makes me so happy.
you are going to be a big sister now, so i am anxious to see how this goes. but you just love babies.
you are so very active, you never sit still, however, you will sit and color for a while. so, that is a good thing.
